The management of neck pain is not just symptomatic. The complexity of the cervico-thoracic-scapulo-humeral dynamic means that an assessment must be carried out of local, regional and distant structures in order to locate dysfunctional joints and soft tissue. A study of interscapular pain and upper cervical pain originating from the lower neck considers two physiopathologies which can be treated by liberating, holding and maintaining.
