Patellofemoral pain syndrome is the leading cause for consultations in athletes with knee pain. The effect on performance is strong and usually causes pain during jumping and landing sports. Physiotherapists have a wide range of rehabilitation techniques, but these are more based on the clinician's assessment than on scientific evidences. The purpose of this research is to highlight the most effective techniques in order to treat patellofemoral pain syndrome.
